ENRICH AND ENJOY ENGLISH(Week 2)

 During the second week I had 3 classes in 9 E and 2 classes in 8A. 11/7/22 Monday, I cant forget this day in my life because the English teacher Indulekha made very good comments on my class. I gave weekend activities for the students and they did it very well in groups. I started giving them group wise stars and bad marks for their regularity in their works. It made them so enthusiastic about their works. And made the classroom lively.The groups were :

  1. Charles Dickens
  2. Rabindra Nath Tagore
  3. William Shakespeare
  4. Geoffrey Chaucer
  5. Jane Austen

Assembly

 On 20/8/22 there was an assembly which was conducting after three years. The main agenda was to distribute prizes for students who won in various inter-school competitions. Also the headmistress showed them the overall championship trophy got from the Rotary Club for becoming number one school in Kollam District in securing highest ranks in SSLC examination. Due to the insufficiency of place, normally there were no regular assemblies.

Organic fair

 NSS unit of GHSS Chathannoor conducted a fair of organic vegetables which was inaugurated by the HM Kamalamma teacher.She delivered a speech on the importance of organic farming.Teachers and students participated in it.
