Reading is good for you because it  improves your focus, memory, empathy, and communication skills . It can reduce stress, improve your mental health, and help you live longer. Reading also allows you to learn new things to help you succeed in your work and relationships. A programme related to the "vayana masacharanam" was conducted on 21/7/22 at Chathannoor School in which various programmes like poetry recitation, book reviews were presented by students. Also there was a speech by an external faculty on the importance of reading.
