             WORLD OF REBELLION  

I wanted to meet Gauri.

Wanted to share my concerns,

And had to discuss these issues.

These days,

Her thoughts have been recurring in me.

Yesterday she came to my dream

And told me to 'write'.

Write till your words have the sharpness

To pierce their brains.

As they have no hearts, no souls either.

Write till your pen becomes more powerful

To frighten them.

As they know they are wretch and wrong.

Write till your work is about,

To shatter their peace.

As they deserve no peace either.

Write!

Don't worry, it's easy to get there.

As they are intolerant than we think.

You will be soon threatened,

And may be called Anti-national!

You will probably don't stop or won't change.

 Because, we can't think otherwise.

You will be tortured and murdered.

So, you will come to me.

We will meet then.

I woke up from my dream.

And realised one thing,

I want to meet Gauri.

Yes! Gauri Lankesh.

It's a poem written by my friend Alfousiya A. R. From this poem I felt that she is a creative as well as a critical writer. I think its the need of the hour to write such poems that have a tone of rebellion. Being a dutiful citizen of India, we must protest against all the social evils atleast through our words.
